Pretty soon (aka it’ll be done when it gets done) there will be a new WhatsThisLifeFor dot org.  NO, you won’t have to change anything…..just the LOOK is changing.

I moved to Posterous in an effort to make things more simple.  I could update the blog from my iPhone and thus update more often.  Well, although I love me some Posterous, it just didn’t work out and my site was down more then up.

With the new digs, I’ll get back to what this blog was initially all about…..talking about WhatThisLife is For.  I’ll keep Posterous for family stuff and to keep family across the pond updated on the kids and such.  And, of course, the awesomest of pics will be at WhatsThisPhotoFor dot com.

All that to say the look will change here soon and you should stay tuned to check it out.

Saving the best for last, a HUGE thank you to Andy MacMahon.  I may seem pretty knowledgable about this computer stuff and to those of you who know NOTHING about it, I may be, but the backend stuff and technical details that all of this involves is WAY beyond me and I owe lots to Andy.  Andy is an excellent writer  and has some good mind-bending, make ya think, kinda stuff over at CrucialEncounter dot com. You should definitely check him out and subscribe to his blog.  He’s just a good man with a giving spirit who owes me nothing, but does as Christ commands and LOVES. Love that dude!

I have taken lots of pictures and edited lots of video over the last 10 months and you all have been along for the ride.  This video is made to take you “behind the scenes” of the past month.

I say it in the video, but a HUGE thank you to each and every one of your prayers.  God has truly blessed our family with a great group of people surrounding us and I’m glad to consider you all, whether we have met or not, friends.

As we sat down for dinner tonight, brought to us by the Williams family, we thanked God for awesome friends.  Then Ria said something that really hits home for me.  She said, “so this is what a church family is like.”  We have done this childbirth thing a couple of times, but were not involved in a church at the time.  I’m in awe at the greatness that is in and around the Church that our Savior created.  People have brought us meals enough to feed us for weeks, gifts for Elijah and Ria, stopped by just to say hi…….Why?  Love, that’s why.  That’s what it’s all about folks…..Spread the Love of God to each and every one.  And then there are friends from Twitter and Facebook…..I haven’t even got a chance to read all of the messages yet and that says it all!  You guys and gals own a tremendous part of our hearts!  Thank you!

One last time (who am I kidding…I’ll say it again and again)….THANK YOU!  You have touched our hearts in ways I cannot explain with mere words.

Just yesterday me and the kids had some fun on the slip n slide and managed to say goodbye to our dog Zeke at the same time.  It’s just been a good week.  For the first time in awhile, I feel like I have grown spiritually.  I feel better than I can ever remember feeling…still running every day and keeping up with the RagamuffinTop Challenge.  It’s been 5 weeks on this challenge for us, and I, again, thank all of you bloggers, friends and family for the support and motivation!

That’s the week at a glance, but I want to use today to reflect, not only on this past week, but on last Sunday specifically.  I want to say thank you.  I’m not going to mention you by name, but you know who you are.  Last Sunday you warmed my heart by getting involved.  Your actions will not only have a positive effect on kids, but have also strengthened my faith.  I have prayed and prayed for you to get involved and to “get on board”, so to speak, and last Sunday God answered my prayers.  I hope and pray it’s only the beginning of God’s work in you and I pray that if I haven’t communicated this effectively enough to you, that you realize just how much it means to me for us to be walking together with Christ.
