That being said, I’m about to approach a season of life where I could use your prayers.

I have 2 classes that start on the 18th. I’m getting toward the end of my degree and these should prove to be very challenging. I’ve had the luxury for quite some time of taking one difficult class with a class that may not be easy, but pales in comparison to the other. Well, I’ve ran out of “easy” classes and now we’re into Pastoral Leadership courses and 500 level courses.

Now then, that will be stressful enough and I’m sure I will complain some around the 18th and the 16 weeks that follow. BUT, here in a week or so, Ria will come off of her profile (profile being what they call “you just had a baby and we won’t test you on situps, pushups and running for a bit”). She anticipates that after she takes this PT test, she will be sent to WLC (warrior leadership something or other…can’t remember the C). She can’t get promoted without it and they have been wanting to send her for awhile and couldn’t cuz she was either pregnant or just had Eli. So, big deal, right? Well, big enough. This WLC is in Waythefreakupthere, Germany, about 4 hours away and she’ll be gone for 2 weeks.

There are military moms out there laughing right now as their husbands have been deployed for 6-12 months and they manage and all I have to say to that is…I’M NOT A MOM! This stuff doesn’t come naturally to me and every day I cannot wait for Ria to get home. So, 2 weeks of my normal routine, plus school, plus doing evenings and night time too equals me even more insane than I am already. I have no idea how I’m going to work those 2 weeks….sorry, just thought of that as I type. Can’t just bring Eli and leave him in his car seat for 3 hours….Hmmmm. Oh well, you get the idea.

So, there ya have it. If you happen to be subjected to my Twitter or Facebook feeds, I apologize in advance. I’m usually not a chronic complainer, but those 2 weeks could bring out the drama queen in me .

Prayers appreciated!

Thanks in advance.
