]]> First, the video:  I’d apologize for its length, but when ya get a chance to be part of something special, ya don’t want to cut it up in editing.  Trust me, it could have been much longer :-) .  This was our first military ball and may not mean much to those who have been to many of them, but for us it was realizing we’re not just 2 more people in Germany.  We’re part of something sacred and honored by millions.  I was, again, proud of my wife for what she has chosen to do.

For some it may bring back memories of your days in service and for others, a glimpse into the military life.

No matter what you’re job it, you know what it’s like when a bunch of “big wigs” come around.  Well, we were surrounded by Generals, Colonels, Sergeant Majors and such.  They weren’t MY bosses, but I was nervous right along with em.  Sit back, remember those who serve our country and enjoy!

Now then, I make this part of Make A Difference (MAD) Monday for a reason.  I’ve done this topic on several Mondays, but I don’t think you can give too much support.  So today, to make a difference, find out what you can do for our soldiers serving in this war.  Go to your local National Guard and ask them, search online for ways to give or send care packages.  You may be the only person some soldier, feeling extremely lonely and scared, in Iraq, has to feel a sense of home.  You know what to do.

]]> Chaya (prounounced Ky-uh) does this stuff all of the time, but usually when I get the camera out, she stops.  I got lucky today….They get so big, so quickly.  On the 25th we’ll have a first grader!  I’m feeling a video coming on that day too :-) .

Still debating on whether we can afford $300 a month to send her to preschool this year.  That’s a little steep for three days a week and 3 hours a day, but it’s also a Christian school….decisions, decisions.  Parenting 101, I guess!  Enjoy!

Anyone wanna donate to the preschool fund??  LOL Kidding people…keep your money :-) .

]]> Well, a few of ya have been waiting :-) .

This is a long one…Grab your popcorn and beverage of choice, click those 4 dot lookin things next to the volume (that be the fullscreen button), crank it up, sit back and enjoy.

This is our church performing the musical Go Go Johah.  They started learning the musical just 5 days ago in what they call Broadway Kids Camp.  From 8:45am to noon, Monday thru Friday they practiced and performed the show tonight.  I didn’t think it was possible, but they pulled it off.

This parenting thing rocks my world sometimes man.  It was about 95 degrees in the sanctuary and between my sweat and tears, cuz I’m a big weenie, I was soaked.  At any rate, I have never been so proud of my son!!

At about the 28 minute mark, Gabriel has his one and only line.  Listen and let me know if you catch what he says…LOL  Enjoy!

If you’re wondering what Gabe is lookin at, his Mom, her friend (that Gabe is in love with) and Gabe’s best friend are sitting over there :-) .  Give him a few….he’ll eventually focus :-)

]]> This is after day 2 of practice for the musical Go Go Jonah.  They will perform it on Friday and, of course, I’ll post it here immediately after :-) .

Keep in mind I had to bribe him to let me record him practicing.  It’s just awesome to me watching him grow.  I get all teary eyed watching them practice.  I’m gonna be a wreck on Friday.

Watch it all as Gabriel does a little advertising at the very end…LOL
