]]> First, the video:  I’d apologize for its length, but when ya get a chance to be part of something special, ya don’t want to cut it up in editing.  Trust me, it could have been much longer :-) .  This was our first military ball and may not mean much to those who have been to many of them, but for us it was realizing we’re not just 2 more people in Germany.  We’re part of something sacred and honored by millions.  I was, again, proud of my wife for what she has chosen to do.

For some it may bring back memories of your days in service and for others, a glimpse into the military life.

No matter what you’re job it, you know what it’s like when a bunch of “big wigs” come around.  Well, we were surrounded by Generals, Colonels, Sergeant Majors and such.  They weren’t MY bosses, but I was nervous right along with em.  Sit back, remember those who serve our country and enjoy!

Now then, I make this part of Make A Difference (MAD) Monday for a reason.  I’ve done this topic on several Mondays, but I don’t think you can give too much support.  So today, to make a difference, find out what you can do for our soldiers serving in this war.  Go to your local National Guard and ask them, search online for ways to give or send care packages.  You may be the only person some soldier, feeling extremely lonely and scared, in Iraq, has to feel a sense of home.  You know what to do.
