LifeChange Week 4

I was actually gonna do a video this week….not sure how I talked myself out of it, but here we are.

Click Here if ya don’t know what any of this is about.

Let’s get down to bidness:

Starting Weights:  ME: 270.8    Ria:  156.0

Last Week’s Weigh-In:   Me:  264.0    Ria:  151.8

This Week:

To Sum It All Up:

Ria lost 1 pound for a total LOSS of 5.2 pounds so far.

I lost 5.4 pounds for a total LOSS of 12.2 pounds

Ria says she’s just keeping with the program of doing cardio along with her Army PT.  If it aint broke, don’t fix it, right?

I did what I call the “cleanse” this week.  Basically, I made a GIANT pot of vegetable stew and that’s what I ate…..Every meal…..Every day.  Think about that for a second and you’ll get why I call it what I call it:-).  Last night was a cheat night and I had some red beans and rice, but now know they “cleanse” as well, so cheating probably helped this week:-).  Still not getting to the gym….that’s probably not gonna happen, but I did sneak in a few Wii Fit sessions.  That’s how it’s gonna work for me…..It is, after all, called LIFE CHANGE, not temporary stuff that will work for a little bit.

On other fronts….still in my Life Journaling plan at YouVersion.  I have yet to miss a day!

Good stuff here!!

Share your successes (or lack thereof) in the comment section or link to a post where you tell us all about it.

I have a cleanse if you want to try it, many say it works, but with my schedule right now I haven't had the "time" to give it a whirl. It is basically drinking homemade "lemonade". The lemonade has molasses and cayenne pepper in it too. Let me know if you want the recipe….

Well, that sounds a little less than appetizing, but throw it at me….it may surprise me and be delicious! :D

I was going to put the recipe up there and forgot. I guess I'll leave it here.
Pretty simple and you can add or subtract according to your taste.
I've used a crock pot the last few times, but have also made it in a regular pot.
      1 Green pepper sliced
      1 Red bell pepper sliced
      1 Potato diced
      1 Onion diced
      4 stalks celery diced
      2 cans diced tomatoes
2 cans cut green beans (drained)
Add all ingredients to the pot and cover with water
Add 1 packet of Beef Stew seasoning and stir
Add spices to taste. I use onion powder, garlic powder, celery salt, slay ya mama and pepper.
If using a pot, heat til boiling and let boil for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Simmer for about an hour.
If in a crock pot, cook on low for about 4-5 hours
If you're a carb freak leave out the taters. Otherwise, that's it.
I LOVE IT! Which is why I can eat it for 5 days straight :-) .
      Good luck!
