The Week at a Glance

by Pastor T on Sep 8th in Christian Living, Our Life

So, today I start my “new job”.  Well, I’ve had this job for quite awhile now, but I guess I have been promoted cuz I am taking on more responsibilities.  In 2 weeks I will get another promotion.  What in the world am I talking about?  Let’s see:

Today starts:

  • Ria going back to work (the promotion!!  what mommy has done for the past 7 weeks is now my responsibility)
  • Gabe will start getting homework this week (this always makes me feel no “smarter than a 2nd grader”…if ya know what I mean)
  • I have homework of my own
  • Chaya doesn’t start school til the 21st (keeping her entertained and injury free is always a challenge)
  • Oh, and there’s a lil 7 week old guy that seems to think he needs my attention (NEVER handled a baby on my own before)

So, yeah…..there ya have it.  Chaya was 2 when Ria went to basic training.  That was tough, but she could walk and talk and was potty trained.  Gabriel isn’t an issue….I have no doubts he will adjust, but I just hope I can do this without totally alienating him.  He’ll be at school all day and I’ll get a few hours with him before I go to work…..by the time I get home, he’ll be in bed.

ANYWAY! Rather than ask for your prayers, I would much rather pray for YOU! I find that when the going gets tough, the tough get to giving and the best way for me to alleviate stress in my life is to know I’m helping someone through their stresses.  Funny how God works in your life, huh?

So, give it to me! Tell me how I can pray for you, how I can call on the Lord to give you strength.  Don’t wanna share it with the world?? Use the CONTACT ME page or shoot me an email.  I will be sure to pray hard for you and have faith the Lord will carry the burdens for you.  The key: You must believe it too!!

Let’s hear it!

How can I pray for you?

Pray that a wonderful man I know has his burden of doubt lifted from his shoulders. I believe it is happening even as I type this. I know with your faith the prayer will be even stronger than mine. love and prayers from here………………………..

Adding Kate McRae to the prayer list. Check out her CaringBridge site here http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/mcraekate. She should be in all of our prayers.

You'll do great! I'm sure Ria would hire a babysitter if she didn't think you could handle it!

HA!! Unfortunately a babysitter isn't an option here, but I'm sure I'll be ok…..just finding a routine is all I need :D

You'll be fine I have no doubt. A two year old is much more difficult than a 7 week old. ECK will just eat and sleep most of the time. If he's normal that is.LOL
    love ya all
