I don’t know about you, but when I think of mission trips, my heart aches because I don’t think I ever have the time or resources to go. Two kids, one on the way, military community, living on a single military income, school, activities…..Those are most of the things that run through my mind when thinking about it.
It’s one thing to blog about trips, but I seriously would like to go, get out of my comfort zone, witness the living conditions of the less fortunate and MOST OF ALL, share the love of Christ with the people in these places. I’ll get there one day, but until then, I help where I can.
So, I make friends with other bloggers and various people via other social networks and since I can’t go on these trips, I do what I can to help others get there.
Today I ask you to join me on MAD (Make A Difference) Monday and HELP. No, you don’t have to have thousands of dollars to send yourself, but how bout $20, $25, $50? I know many of you can afford that. It’s not every day you get the opportunity to help someone out and get something in return though….That’s right…DOUBLE REWARD!

I want to add that when I say “songwriter”, I’m not talking about my songwriting….This guy is good! After making a donation, Russ sent me a link to download these songs. At first, I just put em in the ole iTunes and then I got a chance to listen. Well, now Russ has his own playlist in my iTunes and iPhone and I’ve had this stuff on a never-ending loop for a few days now. So, not only am I helping make Jesus famous, feeling awesome because I helped and knowing that as I give, so does Jesus….Not only that, but now I get music that I would have paid $20 for in the first place. NOW THAT’S A DEAL!
