Facebook and 15 Years: You’re still an @#$%%#@@

How about some randomness for Thursday Thoughts.

The weather in Germany is beginning to irritate me. Sometimes I think we live in the rain forest. EVERY DAY! Drives me nuts!

I am realizing, via Facebook, that not everyone grows up or changes and I am constantly reminded why I didn’t like certain people in high school. Why are we “friends” on Facebook? Good question! I guess I get “approve” happy and if I see they went to my HS and graduated within 1 or 2 years of me, I think, “why not?”

Scot Longyear, Perry Noble and T.D. Jakes: If you’re not watching or listening to all of em, you’re missing out! Yes, Scot, I put you in that category.

Things will get much louder, stinkier and more stressful around here in about 4 months. Struggling to stay positive about that. This stay at home crap is ok with children that walk and talk. Never done the baby thing on my own before and I’m not necessarily looking forward to it. Don’t send hate mail…I’m just being real!

My Mom will be here in 152 days and my sister needs to get her butt over here too.

I have a final exam in my History of Life class due by Friday at midnight and haven’t studied for one second. Probabaly won’t either cuz I have another class that I’m behind in and need to catch up.

Dr. Stillman’s water diet, although effective, SUCKS BAD! I mean, even steak gets old. Now I remember how much I dislike water and why. I’m drowning here! HELP!

I'm tellin ya….it's depressing! The tease of the sun for a few hours just makes it worse. We were pretty set on extending and staying over here for a little longer, but I'm not sure I can handle this for 6 years .

Yes, I started on Monday…thought I'd give it a go for a week
We're actually not eligible to extend until July, but we may . If Ria can re-enlist and pick a station closer to home, we won't, but if they wanna send us to Alaska, Texas, New Jersey or some place far away, we might as well be in Germany where we like it and make LOTS more money .
You could solve the whole problem and just buy a ONE WAY ticket over here and stay! In August we'll have 4 bedrooms and a complete, finished basement that could be all yours .

Hey Connie, pack up and go! Maybe you could get along with "old grouchy" well enough and I know you would love to be with your grandbabies. I am sure Ria is great to be around too. You would sure be missed here but retirement is meant to be spent doing fantastic things.
