Goin Old School

In order to ensure posts aren’t lost during my host transfer, I’m going video blog today.

Your bible looks beautiful. I love bibles. I love the feel and smell of the paper and the leather. I have several different bibles. I have a Rainbow study bible, The LIving Bible, The Book, an NIV with the Message side by side numbered verses, KJV, the childs bible that I was given when I was baptised. I loved it then and I love it now. I also have a New Testament on tapes. I have a Bible the union gave me when my father died and a coffee table size family bible that was a gift when my Mother-in-law died. I like several of the online Bibles bookmarked too. When I am cleaning or cooking I can listen to the word. If I am reading online I take advantage of the little X in the corner of my e mail program etc and they can't intrude. I am not so important that I can't disconect from my online world for the time I spend with the Lord.

My comment was so long it told me to put it in two.lol Truth be told, with all the Bibles and tapes and Joyce Meyer series etc. I still don't study His word nearly enough. One of the nicest thing about your beautiful bible is the fact that it is portable. You can read it while you wait in the car, wait at the doctors office, etc. The more you read and learn the more you can teach the rest of us! I do enjoy your "sermons" and lessons. Do keep them coming!
