She’s Always MAD in My Life

MAD=Making a Difference!

This spot is usually reserved for how we can Make A Difference in the lives of others, but today I wanna show ya how my wife consistently makes a difference in mine.

As you all should know, Ria (wife) is pregnant.  Well, this weekend she (and the rest of us for that matter) hasn’t been feeling good.  That didn’t stop her from performing what I call “SUPREME WIFE MAGIC.”  All day Saturday on the TV stand and all day Sunday on the desk, she did just what she normally does….Made me go WOW!  Ya see, I’m what ya call “constructially moronic.” Everything I put together ends up having to be taken apart and put together the RIGHT way.  So, after years of learning this, I am no longer allowed near anything that requires assembly.  Electronics, I’m your man….Wood and screws, and I’m like a 1 year old reading laws of thermodynamics:-).

So, I just wanted to show ya before and after pics and applaud my AWESOME WIFE!  The postal workers, with their “rain, sleet, or snow”, have nothing on my wife’s “sick, pregnant and irritated.”

Thanks honey!

Keep in mind, she only has a picture to go by cuz there aren’t any English instructions.

Desk Before:  Doesn’t she look happy?

Desk After:

All I did was put the stuff on the desk and move it into place. I know, I did a wonderful job:-).

Yes, you should tell her how awesome she is and let me know who the constructor is in your house.

    That's awesome! I should share some pictures of all the things I've built since my husband was gone and I wanted it done!! LOL You go girl! And I'll go with ya! Blessings! (hope ya'll feel better soon!)

    Hey, you can't have her! I'd have nothing but a pile of wood without her :-) .

    Ha, good stuff! I always end up putting one of the shelves (that is permanently locked into place) upside down. It never fails. I have a black desk that has one wood shelf because I put it in upside down. One of my bookshelves at home is black except for the top board which I put in upside down and it's wooden on the side showing. Ugh.

    My wife makes jokes about how unhandy I am. Publicly. Which kind of stings because I worked in construction and renovation for almost 6 months a few summers ago. I did pretty well. Anyways, I told her if kept saying over and over that I stunk at handy stuff that I probably eventually would.

      My wife thinks I put things together wrong on purpose so she'll do it :-) . I'm not sure she's wrong…

    ok i still haven't quite figured out how to log in so this comment will be from Toby even though it's Ria :) (I (Toby) fixed it for ya) I know I don't say this often enough, but Toby has definitely MAD in my life since I've known him. Believe it or not I know he doesn't put stuff together wrong on purpose cause the first time he did it I was in the hospital and he was at home by himself so he had to finally read the instructions and get it right:) So I'll happily build things and he'll do the computer stuff for as long as we both shall live :) Hey maybe we should have included that in our vows LOL
