Introducing THICK

As you can see, I wasn’t kidding when I said there were some changes coming in 2009:-).  Thanks to Andy McMahon this new look was done in one day.  Check out Andy’s blog here. There is still some tweeking to do, but for the most part, this is it.  There is a place right below here for ads and while I’m not going to charge anyone for ads, I’ll do something like my favorite 4 blogs of the month or something.

Now, let me point out the obvious:-).  Up top ya have the little birdy with “currently” next to him.  The birdy is Twitter and if ya don’t know what that is, chances are ya don’t wanna.  Whatever is next to that is the latest “status message” I have entered.  As you’ve probably figured out, in the middle is the latest post and if you click it, you’ll see the rest of it:-).  Other than that, it’s pretty simple:  Categories on the left, some pics and links to other social sites on the right.  We eliminated a bunch of juNew Designnk to make it faster and smoother.  I think we accomplished that!!  Why I’m saying “we” is beyond me.  I did a little more than NOTHING! Again, a huge thanks to Andy! Did I mention that he and I have never met?  He’s just an awesome kinda guy!!

There ya have it.  Pretty simple today to let ya get a feel for the new look.

    I tried posting this but had some trouble so thought I would email you. First, I do like the new look however the blue on the Top 8 comments was hard to read. I clicked on "more" on About me and it took me nowhere but then I had trouble just getting back to your page. Finally got back to mine. I am getting to dislike Intense Debate immensely. Several others have it and it does not keep up with the typing. I went to comment on yours and 5 minutes later it was still only on the first line of my response. Maybe it is me. Carlos (Ragamuffin) and Scot (Reson8) also use it. Same thing there. Just thought I would let you know.

I'm an idiot wrapped in a moron when it comes to webpage set-up so I've got no business commenting, but you know I will. I had to make sure that I was WIDE awake for the other layout. It was kind of an assult to the eyes…but I thought that was a military thing. hahaha! I know, I know, shut up, Terry…

      Same system, new look. You keep putting an apostrophe and a space in that name and it's not gonna work :-) .

    Definitely digging the 'thick' theme. I ran across this theme in google reader last week and was definitely impressed. I needz me a different look for 2009 too.

        That's one of the cool things about that theme from what I remember. It has the option of choosing from a few color/layout schemes.

    Andy absolutely amazes me-not just by his work-but on his site all his testimonies! What a child of God! My fingers were on fire there! He will keep growing close-with that prayer of his….he is very transparent….and that is the way to be! Beautiful beginning just like I went thru….he will climb, jumb and race for the Lord from here! Praise Jesus!
